STEREOTYPES CAN BE USED IN IMMORAL WAYS - for example, denying healthcare or the proper healthcare to cure a malady, purely on the basis of immutable human traits.

STEREOTYPES EVOLUTIONARILY ARE BASED ON EXPERIENCE - evolved as a method of quickly navigating the world and still existing today due to being accurate enough to be useful (Neuberg, 2020.) For example, you likely would not ask a toddler for help with a crossword puzzle because you would be unlikely to find it that helpful. However, you have technically stereotyped the toddler. However, the more accurate academic psychological term for this scenario is a “Schema,” or social script that is useful in rational presumption: walk into a room full of people dressed in black and weeping, and it is not an unreasonable guess that it is a funeral.

MASCULINE AND FEMININE ARCHETYPES - a more accurate term for psychological and behavioral sex differences that are sets of instincts - evolved traits psychologically and behaviorally as much as physiological changes, all of which helped to keep the species alive over millennia.
